I’m tired.
Each morning I check the New York Times headlines, just as I did during Trump Part One. I guess it’s in self defense, of a sort.
I don’t really expect a drone attack on us here in Garland, at least not from our own government since we live in Abbott Country. However, the governor did turn over all our voter data, so maybe I’m being too optimistic.
Anyway, I’m spending a lot of time listening to Heather Cox Richardson and other voices I trust. Reading posts from Jeffrey Sachs reassures me that I’m not insane. He articulates (and explains) beliefs I have held my whole life.
So what are we to do now? I have some ideas about what the future may hold, and I am not going to share them here. But I will say that it wouldn’t be foolish to brush up on barter skills and look into community gardening. Or for that matter, community anything.
More later.
